Our theology of prayer can be defined as this: Divine intervention, only by human invitation.

God gave the earth to man (Psa. 8:6). In delegating it to him, God set up a system He would not violate. His intervention now requires our invitation. That invitation is referred to as “prayer”. Through prayer we partner with God to bring His government, His Kingdom, to earth.

At Heartland, we desire to see God’s Kingdom come and His will being done. Therefore, we are a praying church.

We’ve prioritized this over many things, and have opportunities almost every day to meet and pray. Please join in as we cry out to and hear from God!
