Sometimes life takes you by surprise and you find you need help, whether for yourself or for a loved one. The following is a list of counseling, recovery and resource providers whom Heartland Church recommends. We encourage you to reach out for help when you need it.
New Life Counseling - Offering faith-based Christian counseling and coaching services at two locations the Des Moines, Iowa area - Ankeny and West Des Moines.

Garden Gate Ranch - A non-profit 501(c)(3), faith-based, Christian organization providing assistance, resources, and training for the sexually exploited in a residential setting.
Senior Housing - For seniors who have modest incomes, paying for housing - whether a home they own, a rental, or a room in a facility that provides additional senior care assistance - can feel nearly impossible. Follow the link to find housing assistance for low-income seniors with a variety of housing needs.
The Cupboard - Those in need can visit The Cupboard to pick up a food bag of non-perishable food, milk, meat, produce and bread for their families. Personal care items are also available.
